Red Velvet Cake
Last week I made a cake I really wanted a slice of!
The cake was a 30th birthday cake for a lovely lady called Jenna, she pretty much gave me free reign. We went with the most amazing red velvet covered in a mascapone cream cheese frosting. The filling itself was good enough to eat on its own, it was like the best vanilla cheesecake wrapped around a soft red chocolate cake. I thought I'd balance it out with a bit of fruitiness and decorated it with raspberries.
It was so good I decided I'd make another one at the weekend just so I could have a piece.
I hope Jenna enjoyed hers as much as I enjoyed this one!
